What is Faith?

Religion is a shelter, a place where people run to hide either from who they truly are or from what they want to become. The reason Christians fight all the time about what God can do and can’t do is because the relationships we have with religion aren’t our own. Look at people who go to church, and they will quote a pastor more than they quote the Bible. I find emotional abuse, as that is done through religion, to be the worst form of abuse ever. You will be told the Bible says this and that meanwhile the person is taking no accountability for their action. You will be told to forgive and forget while you are dying inside. Read the Bible for yourself and understand contexts. For a nation that has churches everywhere, we spew a lot of hate on each other. For a religion that preaches faith, we rarely ever practice. In the end, we follow blindly and believe whatever narrative is told to us.
