Flaws don’t make you

There is a series I watched sometime back,it has humor, drama and a lot of action family style.I realized lately that my kind of tv shows are those that can make me laugh and have content enough to trigger my mind. The things we take for granted are trully the things we need.So this week I thought about that series and went back to rewatching it.As it turns out it has gaps in it’s story line.Things that I missed the first time which have made me realize would make it better.Do I still love it ? Definitely yes, because what interested me in the first place is still there.Would I watch it again in the future? Probably yes,as much as it is quite disappointing with all of it’s flaws it’s still a series that made me smile. This morning I have been thinking a lot about what would happen if we looked at our own flaws and chose to love them.Like that trait that brings out the worst in you, that depression that had made you go so low you can no longer be productive. That temper that made you lose your job,or the impatience that led you to close up a business for not picking up fast enough. That trauma of what happened in the past, the way that you still attract things that trigger you. What happens if you acknowledge your flaws and still chose to be the best of you.The good that you can do if you realize that your flaws are a part of you and not the whole of you.Oh how much you would grow if you stopped watering the negative traits and feed the positives. You may not get rid of the flaws but acknowledging them long enough to stop making them define you will surely elevate you.
