Enabling isn’t help.

The problem with bad behavior isn’t just the people who do it.Its also the people who enable the bad behavior.Today we look at the reasons as to why people enable bad behavior. Some people are serial thieves, petty thieves, who are the enablers? The people who replace the stolen thing’s,the people who pay for bonds so that the thief is released. They could be family, friends and even spouses.I don’t even understand why we do it ,the first time we think it’s a mistake. We think helping them gives them a chance to change,a chance at a start over. What is the mental status of a person who repeatedly does mistakes knowing they will be helped out. What happens when you continue helping them? The more you help them the more they drown because they know you will rush to their aid.Look at it like this ,we all have something that gives us an adrenaline rush.Suppose the bad behavior gives them adrenaline,do you realize that they will keep doing for as long as there’s a way out. Most people will say they have tried to get them help. But the real question is have you tried to to let them figure it out on their own.And if you have let them,to what extent did you let them.Or as soon as it got tough and they asked for help, you rush to their side thinking they have learnt their lesson.Where does enabling end and accountability start?
