Diary of my Today

Today I’m lying down on the ground staring at the sky.The sun is shining on my face and the wind is blowing.The trees are moving in sync with the clouds.Why am I lying down you might ask. I’m waiting for a delivery guy and this place is so steep I cannot stand straight without thinking  about how it is.I look at it and think about our childhood.We used to run up and down this place like a hundred times a day.We would even carry things while running at a speed so high thinking about it now makes my head spin.Aging comes with lots of things because how do you explain me looking at this and it now gives me a migraine.The delivery guy is her and is asking me why I look exhausted.I tell him I have walked up and down twice.He laughs because he used to be sent to tell us to stop screaming our lungs out.He tells me that time really flies,look at me now exhausted for something I used to do in a heartbeat.Been staring at this tree and I want to climb it. The funny is that I can still climb trees but steep gives me chills.The irony in all of this that when I am carrying farm products up the steep I never feel it.Village life.
