Diary of my Today

My favorite movie has love, politics, parenting, forgiveness and liberation.It is called The Hate U Give. My favorite person in the movie is the Dad in that show .That man protected his family like his life depended on it.I am always intrigued by the way he says that “Reasons to live give reasons to Die.” The ending of that movie is healing,new beginnings and everytime I rewatch it I can’t help but marvel at how one person can become so full of fault’s yet flawless.How a man can accept his choices and stand by them no matter what.The Zeal to raise children through your own lessons without fearing the consequences.Scary as it is to let your children find out how hard it is to make choices and yet still let them anyway.Today I am reminded that there is no such thing as being there.I have grown to love this movie every time I watch it.It gives me hope that no matter where you are,that can do better.It is a reminder that circumstances can be as shitty as it gets ,but I should keep trying anyway.Maybe this one time they will change just maybe this time something good will come out of it.It may go the other way but I wouldn’t know if I don’t try. Everyday comes with it’s own challenges.You wake up and do not know what the day will bring,but you wake up anyway. In the end what really matters is that you show up ,give it your best and hope that it is enough.
